She was the school-level nominee for the Governor General’s Award for Teaching Excellence and nominated for UK Classroom Teacher of the Year (Regional, Essex), and has received multiple academic scholarships including the Stuart D.B. Picken Memorial Grant and the Welch Graduate Scholarship in Education.
