I teach and research across secondary and postsecondary contexts, with a focus on student engagement, history, and research-informed practice. I have taught in the UK, Mexico, Canada and Arctic communities, contributed to more than a dozen published textbooks and curriculum resources, and presented my work internationally.
This work informs both my scholarly writing and my historical fiction, particularly my interest in narrative, audience, and voice.
